Microsoft Launched Improvised and Updated Silverlight 3

The technology is growing very fast these days and there is also considerable rise in the competition in making new technological advancements. The most popular flash software Adobe Flash has now found its new competitor from Microsoft’s Silverlight 3. It is a recently plug-in device for interactive applications and superior media experience on the World Wide Web. Microsoft has been updating it ritually every year ever since its launch in 2007. The Silverlight version that was introduced in 2007 has nearly 300 million downloads till now as per report of Microsoft. The report also mentioned the approximately 300,000 developers and engineers across the world use Silverlight.
With Silverlight 3 Microsoft has made several notable changes in terms of its streaming capabilities. The new Silverlight 3 has an improvised streaming potential which is known as Smooth Streaming. The software will enable a high definition video playback of the sample content provided there is high internet bandwidth and video rendering capability on your system. However, if the internet bandwidth is lower than 3 Mbps and if your system does not have a good video capability then the Smooth Streaming will adapt itself and therefore, you will have no need to increase the bandwidth cap as well.
Microsoft will provide with more details on the new Silverlight 3 along with the launch of Expression Studio 3. The company is also planning to extend Silverlight’s technologies over the browser by permitting the developers and designers to design and make apps that can be run on the desktop.
